CARDBOARD &
PLASTIC RECYCLE
Hume & Iser manages its cardboard and plastic recycling through JJ's Waste and Recycling service weekly.
BATTERY RECYCLE
DROP POINT
At our main entrance, you can deposit flat batteries for assorted devices to be recycled.
ROOF SOLAR PANELLING
Hume & Iser's roof space is occupied by solar panelling, which powers the store's lights, controls the store's climate, and offsets emissions.
LED STORE LIGHTING
The retail undercover area of Hume & Iser is fitted with LED light fixings for better light output and less power usage.
E-WASTE RECYCLING
Hume & Iser's e-waste is gathered annually and transported to the Eaglehawk Landfill for proper and safe disposal.
SCRAP METAL RECYCLING
All scrap metals are donated to Northstar's steel collection and recycling service for responsible repurposing and reuse.
RESPONSIBLY SOURCED TIMBER
Most of our timber lines are from sustainable sources certified by Responsible Wood Ltd.
