Hume & Iser Mitre 10 has ushered in a new chapter for Bendigo’s lawn and garden community with the acquisition of Bendigo Mower Service in 2024. The move brings together more than five decades of specialist mower and small-engine expertise with one of the region’s most recognisable hardware brands.
Bendigo Mower Service has been serving Central Victorians since the 1970s, building a reputation for honest advice, repairs and reliable outdoor power equipment. Under the new ownership, the business continues to operate from its Charleston Road site, now proudly branded as part of the Hume & Iser family, with the same local faces customers know and trust.
Hume & Iser says the acquisition strengthens its ability to support home gardeners, contractors and landholders with a wider range of products, parts and after-sales service. By combining Bendigo Mower Service’s workshop capabilities with Hume & Iser’s buying power and store network, customers can expect better choice, improved service capacity and ongoing commitment to the local community.
