Event Details & Operations
The Spring Showcase event takes place on Saturday, 3rd October and Sunday, 4th October 2026. Expert advice and brand representatives are available from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM featuring representatives from Cabot's, Dulux, Searles & Debco, Neutrog, and Echo Power Tools. Hume & Iser Mitre 10 reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel any element of the event, expert schedules, or advertised activities due to unforeseen circumstances, inclement weather, or safety reasons.   

 

Launch Day & Weekend Specials
Promotional pricing is valid strictly across the event weekend (3rd-4th October 2026) or while promotional stock lasts. Savings are calculated against normal ticketed retail prices. Featured promotional lines include offers on Searles Premium Potting Mix 30L, Accent Low Sheen Interior 6L, and Chocka Blok Bales. Hume & Iser Mitre 10 reserves the right to limit purchase quantities per customer to ensure fair community access. Rainchecks, back-orders, or price extensions will not be offered once promotional stock is exhausted.   

 

Competitions & Giveaways
Entry for the weekend raffle ("Win a Wheelbarrow Full of Products") requires a qualifying purchase of any Searles, Dulux, Cabot's, or Neutrog product over the event weekend. The winner will be drawn on the Tuesday following the event and notified directly. Prizes consist of a pre-filled wheelbarrow, are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and cannot be redeemed for cash. The kids' colouring competition is open to children attending the event across the weekend, and entries must be completed and submitted on-site with judging decisions made by management being final. Personal information collected for entries will be used exclusively for administering these promotions and contacting winners, in compliance with applicable privacy laws.   

 

Sausage Sizzle & Community Donation
The sausage sizzle is hosted by Mark from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. It operates on a gold coin donation basis, with 100% of proceeds donated directly to Foodshare Bendigo.

 

Limitation of Liability & Premises Safety

Attendees enter the premises and participate in on-site activities, including interactive displays, children's areas, and the sausage sizzle, entirely at their own risk. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hume & Iser Mitre 10, its employees, agents, and event partners accept no liability for any loss, property damage, or personal injury suffered or sustained during the event, except where caused by the proven negligence or willful misconduct of the business.

 

Statutory Consumer Guarantees

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer rights, guarantees, or remedies conferred by the Australian Consumer Law. All purchases remain fully protected by statutory consumer guarantees, meaning sale or promotional items are eligible for repair, replacement, or refund if found to be faulty, unsafe, or not matching their description. Change-of-mind returns on promotional stock are managed at store discretion.
